Surfrider Foundation Atlanta Chapter and Barefoot Wine will host a public river cleanup at Chattahoochee River Park  on Saturday, Aug. 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The cleanup is part of the Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project, a longstanding partnership between Barefoot Wine and the Surfrider Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves and beaches.

Following the cleanup, participants 21+ are invited to celebrate their efforts with Barefoot Wine and tasty beach treats. Attendees can find more information and RSVP for the free event at BeachRescue2012.com.
