Submissions for the city of Brookhaven’s logo competition are due this week.
The art competition, hosted by the Governor’s Commission on Brookhaven, is open to all Brookhaven students. It encourages kids within the boundaries of the new city to create a logo that they think best represents their community.
The city council will consider the student art when it selects an image to serve as the logo for the city of Brookhaven.
Commission member Jed Beardsley said the due date for individual children is Oct. 23. The due date for the winners of school competitions is Oct. 25.
