City leaders will honor the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and announce the winner of the city’s annual humanitarian award during a ceremony on Jan. 21.

Rodney Bullard, executive director of the Chick-fil-A Foundation will be this year’s keynote speaker, the city has announced.

The event begins at 10 a.m. at Sandy Springs City Hall, located at 7840 Roswell Road, Building 500, Sandy Springs.

The city will announce the 2013 Humanitarian Award winner, a distinction given to individuals who stand out for their service to the community.

The event is open to the public.
