A doctor has been indicted on charges that he molested a girl during a sleepover at his Sandy Springs home, police say.

A Fulton County Grand Jury on Feb. 5 indicted Kelly Thrasher. Thrasher, 40, is charged with child molestation, sexual battery and aggravated sexual battery, according to a statement from Sandy Springs police.

Police say they arrested Thrasher on Jan. 24 after he left Ridgeview Medical Center, where he had been since being informed of the investigation. Thrasher is also accused of sexually assaulting a 38-year old woman at his home, police said.

He is currently free on $50,000 bond and will appear in Sandy Springs Municipal Court on Feb. 13 at 10 a.m.

According to records on Georgia Composite Medical Board’s website, Thrasher’s license has been suspended. Thrasher’s specialty is internal medicine, according to the board.
