Construction of the controversial multi-use trail in Brook Run Park has begun.
Workers from Lewallen Construction Co. of Marietta began installing orange construction fence to prevent silt runoff on Feb. 14. They were continuing the work on Feb. 15.
On Feb. 4, a DeKalb Superior Court judge lifted a temporary court order stopping construction of the trail. Residents who sued the city over the trail say they are appealing the judge’s decision.
