The Buckhead Community Improvement District doesn’t want to just tell you how many projects it tackled in 2012.

It wants to show you.

Buckhead CID Executive Director Jim Durrett on March 19 told his newsletter subscribers that they should check out a graphical presentation of the CID’s work.

Here are some of the highlights from 2012:

– Off duty Atlanta police officers spent more than 5,200 hours in the CID directing traffic.

– Landscaped five miles of roadway and an acre of park space every week.

– Applied 99,200 pounds of mulch to local roadway medians.

– Planted more than 129,000 flowers and plants along Peachtree Road.
