The Buckhead Business Association has invited Suzanna Jemsby, head of the Galloway School, to speak at its weekly breakfast meeting on May 16.

Jemsby will discuss “21st century learning and the ways which Galloway’s education will shape the local environment” according to the meeting announcement.

The meeting will be held at the City Club of Buckhead and begins at 7:30 a.m.

Here’s a portion of Jemsby’s biography from Galloway’s website:

Suzanna has a master’s degree from the University of Cambridge, U.K., in modern and medieval languages, and teaching and performance diplomas from the London College of Music. She is fluent in English, German, and French, and also speaks Italian and Swedish. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Suzanna is a freelance cellist and a published author of short stories. She and her husband, Bjoern, have three daughters, Sophia, first grade, Tindra, Pre-K, and Freja (yet to be a Galloway student).
