10 a.m.-3 p.m. – The 14th annual Flying Colors Butterfly Festival at the Chattahoochee Nature Center opens. See hundreds of butterflies as they are released, and check out the “butterfly encounter” tent, allowing you to hand-feed more than 250 free-flying butterflies. Enjoy live music, photography and entomology exhibits, arts and crafts, and face painting. Kids encouraged to wear butterfly costumes for the butterfly parade. Food trucks on site.
