The Dunwoody Homeowners Association plans to host a public debate Oct. 17 for candidates running for Dunwoody City Council, board members announced during the group’s meeting July 14.

Assuming, of course, there are enough candidates to hold a debate before the Nov. 5 election.

Candidates are scheduled to file for election in August. Incumbent Councilmen Doug Thompson and Denis Shortal announced July 16 they would seek reelection. Council members Adrian Bonser has not announced whether she plans to run again.
