Our affiliate CBS Atlanta is reporting that another protest against the George Zimmerman verdict in the Trayvon Martin case will take place tonight, July 15. A march is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday starting at Sankofa United Church of Christ on James P. Brawley Dr. and ending at CNN Center.
On Sunday, hundreds of people took to the streets of Atlanta to protest the Zimmerman verdict issued on Saturday night. Thousands more demonstrated in New York, LA and around the country.
In Atlanta, the protest was a peaceful one as demonstrators made their way past the CNN Center and onto Centennial Olympic Park.
