The annual Atlanta Ice Cream Festival returns to Piedmont Park on Saturday, July 27, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The set-up will be along 10th Street gate near Charles Allen Drive. While enjoying ice cream from local vendors, visitors can also work off some calories with ZUMBA Fitness routines, line dancing, a hula hoop contest, sack races and more.
Bruster’s Ice Cream will be hosting an Ice Cream Eating Contest at 3:15 p.m. To be included in the chance pool to participate, send your name, email and phone number to iloveicecream@atlantaicecreamfestival.com. There will be three groups based on ages and those selected to compete will be announced at 2 p.m. on the day of the festival.
