The Atlanta Police have arrested a serial robber, according to Sgt. Greg Lyon with APD’s Public Affairs office. On Friday evening, July 19, the Atlanta Police Department received anonymous tips concerning the whereabouts of suspected serial robber Artavius Marcellus Brown, age 23. Brown is believed to be responsible for robberies at 24 Family Dollar stores throughout metro Atlanta, and a federal bank robbery charge of the PNC Bank in Tucker. Brown was found hiding in a residence on Thomasville Drive, SE, by Atlanta Police Zone 3 officers. He was taken into custody without incident.
