
A series of unsettling Buckhead burglaries may finally be coming to an end.
Atlanta Police in Buckhead’s Zone 2 precinct on Aug. 5 announced the arrest of Farhana Sultan, charged with receiving stolen property.
Police say they’re in the process of matching up recovered silver with people who have reported burglaries in Atlanta and in other parts of the metro area.
The full statement from Atlanta Police:
“There have been numerous burglaries in the Buckhead area where thieves have taken silver from various locations. On Friday Farhana Sultan … was arrested for theft by receiving stolen property. The location of arrest is not being released at this time. This case involves at least four metro jurisdictions and spans across two states with three cases from Atlanta Police. Over $100,000 in possible stolen items have been recovered. Investigators are in the process of contacting some of the victims so that they may come in to identify their property.”
