Brookhaven Police say they’ve arrested a man accused of breaking into a mosque three times and stealing property.

Police allege Babou Jobe, 48, burglarized the Brookhaven Islamic Center (Masjid Abu Bakr) on Briarwood Road. Police said a security camera recorded the suspect taking cash, a flat-screen TV and a computer from the mosque.

Jobe is homeless, police said. A Brookhaven police officer arrested Jobe after the officer noticed him walking along Briarwood Road and recognized him from video camera footage.

He is being held in DeKalb County jail and faces three counts of burglary and one count of possession of tools used to commit a crime.
