The Druid Hills Civic Association has posted information on its website about the results of an “unscientific survey” taken during a meeting on Aug. 17 about potential cityhood. The results indicated a stronger interest in the City of Briarcliff initiative, but remaining in unincorporated DeKalb and annexation into the City of Atlanta were not far behind. The report said that the survey serves as more of a baseline than a determined direction.

More than 500 residents packed into Glenn Memorial Church on the Emory University campus to hear from officials from Atlanta, DeKalb and the City of Briarcliff initiative, which could include Druid Hills.
