An estimated 82,300 Atlantans took part in the Atlanta Streets Alive event on Sunday, according to an update posted by the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition. Volunteers were stationed along the nearly five-mile route to help come up with the number of participants.

From 2-6 p.m., portions of Highland Avenue, Boulevard, Monroe and Virginia Avenue were closed to vehicular traffic creating a loop where people could walk, run, bike, skateboard and enjoy a myriad of events.
