A little music, a little dancin’, maybe a little moonshine and definitely a lot of fun. The Grant Park Neighborhood Association will host the annual Mothball, a costume ball fundraiser, on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 8 p.m. to midnight at The Grant Park Recreation Center, 537 Park Ave. SE.
Highlights of the evening will include hosts Amber Nash and Lucky Yates (who voice Pam and Dr. Krieger on Archer), music by Seven Handle Circus, a Hootenanny dance-off, costume contest, southern food from local restaurants, silent auction, craft beer and more.
Proceeds from the event benefit Grant Park’s four schools, the 800 Glenwood efforts to help maintain the Beltline’s original vision and a variety of neighborhood organizations. Tickets are $30 in advance; $40 at the door. Visit www.gpna.org/mothball for more information.
