Gay rights group All Out plans to demonstrate outside Coca-Cola headquarters on North Avenue in Midtown today at 12:30 p.m. The organization is asking for the soft drink giant to call for a repeal of Russia’s anti-gay “propaganda” law before the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Coke is one of the largest sponsors of the Olympic games.

Over the summer, Russia passed legislation outlawing gay pride rallies, parades or events as well as the promotion of “nontraditional sexual orientation” to minors. The law has been decried by governments, activists and human rights organizations around the world.
