Sandy Springs contractors are installing a pedestrian crossing light on Roswell Road between Franklin Road and Long Island Road.
The project is expected to last about four weeks, according to an email from Public Works Director Garrin Coleman forwarded to Reporter Newspapers.
“The project will include a short section of raised median as well as signal mast arms,” Coleman wrote in his email. “There will be intermittent lane closures between 9 am and 4 pm starting tomorrow and a lane in each direction is planned to be closed this Saturday for most of the day if the weather cooperates. Construction should be complete before the end of the year.”
