Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport officials are expecting 1.8 million (a 3.3 percent increase) passengers to pass through the terminals from Nov. 25 to Dec. 2 for the Thanksgiving holiday week.
Passengers should arrive early, at least 90 minutes before a domestic flight and two hours before an international flight, and to pack smartly. TSA officials reminded flyers that the rule on carry-on liquids was still in affect: 3.4 ounces or less per container; fit in one quart-size, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; and be limited to one bag per passenger.
