Residents in the neighborhoods surrounding the new Falcons stadium and city officials have finally reached an agreement on divvying up $30 million in community redevelopment money. The Atlanta Journal Constitution is reporting that an agreement was reached last night and will now be sent on to the Atlanta City Council for consideration.

Getting this far in the process hasn’t been easy, with a recent meeting ending with officials walking out and residents chanting “shame” at city officials. According to the AJC, Monday night’s vote was 9-3.
