Atlanta Police are investigating a failed smash-and-grab robbery at the CVS pharmacy across the street from Phipps Plaza in Buckhead. According to our affiliate CBS Atlanta, thieves used a stolen SUV to ram through the front doors of the store at 3667 Peachtree Road around 4 a.m. this morning
Investigators said the robbery was botched once the crooks realized the stolen Honda Pilot used to crash into the store was stuck inside. The target of the robbery was an ATM machine inside the store, according to reports.
