Georgia Lottery officials announced the name of the Georgia Mega Millions winner on Wednesday.
Ira Curry of Stone Mountain will walk away with $120 million after taxes.
Curry bought her ticket at a newsstand in Buckhead. Her one ticket was a last minute purchase and the numbers she picked were comprised of family members’ birthdays and their lucky number.
The other lucky winner was sold in California. That winner has not come forward.
The winning numbers were 8, 14, 17, 20, 39, and the Mega Ball 7.
Optimists and dreamers lined up at gas stations, mini-marts and drug stores Monday for the last-minute Mega Millions ticket-buying frenzy.
