Screen Shot 2013-12-27 at 5.20.21 PMOur January 2014 edition is special for two reasons: first, we honor local students giving back to the community in extraordinary ways in our 6th annual 20 Under 20 feature. Second, this year marks Atlanta INtown’s 20th anniversary. INtown was originally known as 30306, the zip code of founder Chris Schroder. The mission to bring you hyperlocal news and features remains our goal today. Be sure to read my Editor’s Letter on Page 3 for more about the anniversary and check out our new feature, Neighborhood Spotlight, which will showcase one of the community’s we cover each month in 2014.

Also in this issue, you’ll find a profile of local playwright Janece Shaffer, whose new show, The Geller Girls, premieres at the Alliance Theatre in January; a guide to celebrating Chinese New Year; and local real estate agents make their predictions for the 2014 housing market.

From all of us here at INtown and Springs Publishing, we wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!
