Georgia Equality, the state’s largest LGBTQ+ advocacy organization, is hosting a meet-and-greet with endorsed candidates, on Monday, Oct. 5.

“Get the Scoop: Candidate Meet and Greet” will begin at 6 p.m. at Butter and Cream’s Roswell location (1075 Canton St.). Registration for the event can be found on Georgia Equality’s website. 

During the event, attendees will enjoy free Butter and Cream ice cream while getting to know some of the candidates endorsed by Georgia Equality. The organization issued the endorsements for the Nov. 3 general elections back in August, representing the LGBTQ+ organization’s best picks for LGBTQ+ and allied candidates.

Voter registration must be completed by Oct. 5 to vote in the Nov. 3 election. Early voting begins on Oct. 13, and the final day to request an Absentee by Mail ballot is Oct. 23. Voter registration information and polling locations can be found on the Secretary of State’s My Voter Page.
