The Board of Directors of Georgia Equality, the state’s largest political advocacy organization for LGBTQ+ Georgians and their allies, has released its first round of candidate endorsements for the upcoming 2026 general elections.

Statewide Offices

Governor: Keisha Lance Bottoms
Lt. Governor: Josh McLaurin
Attorney General: Tanya Miller
Insurance Commissioner: Keisha Sean Waites
Labor Commissioner: Nikki Porcher
State School Superintendent: Dr. Lydia Powell

Georgia Equality has also made endorsements for the State Senate, State House of Representatives, Fulton County Commission, Cobb County Board of Education, and Gwinnett County Commission.
