Ground has been broken for a new Hyatt House hotel near the Georgia Aquarium in Downtown Atlanta. The 150-room hotel will be at the intersection of Ivan Allen Boulevard and Luckie Streets.

Developer Chip Patterson and TPG Hospitality have created a joint venture, 380 Luckie, LLC, to build Hyatt House.

The extended-stay Hyatt House design will give guests an upscale apartment community feel, with studio, one or two bedroom options with kitchens.  Construction is expected to take 16 months.
