Students are being told not to report for classes in Fulton County schools on Jan. 7 due to anticipated cold temperatures.
Extracurricular events such as athletics practices, clubs, and field trips are also cancelled, , the system announced Jan. 6.
School and central office employees scheduled to work Jan. 7 should report for work at 10 a.m., the system said in a press release. Bus drivers, school nutrition workers and production chefs do not need to report, the press release said.
