Dad’s Garage Theatre Company pitched plans for a new home to the Candler Park Neighborhood Organization’s zoning committee this week, according to a report at the CPNO website. Dad’s Garage wants to lease part of the existing Front Page News and Tijuana Garage restaurant space at 351 Moreland Ave.
In addition, Dad’s Garage would also construct new facilities in the rear of the lot. Questions about parking, the impact on Josephine Street (which would abut the new facilities) and zoning requirements are still to be answered.
Dad’s Garage has been putting on shows at 7 Stages in Little Five Points since moving last year from its home in Inman Park to make way for a new mixed-use apartment complex development.
