Renderings of a proposed 35-story apartment tower at 6th and Peachtree in Midtown have caused a buzz, according to reports from Atlanta Business Chronicle and Curbed Atlanta. The unusual tower would integrate parking and 25,000 square feet of retail into an artful, stair-step design.
Development company The Integral Group is looking for $70 million in funding to construct the firm Perkins + Will-designed tower, which would feature 400 apartments.

Midtown doesn’t need another apartment building. We just got Skyhouse South and they haven’t even begun to fill it. PLUS the retail space in that area is a ghost town. I’m all for more development but how about we space it out a little more???
