Atlanta City Councilmember Yolanda Adrean greeted residents and park volunteers at the Chastain Park Conservancy’s 10th Anniversary Celebration Breakfast on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
The keynote speaker for the event was Walter Reeves, ‘The Georgia Gardener’ and host of the WSB radio program “The Lawn and Garden Show.”
During this morning’s celebration, Park Pride presented a $500,000 check to the Chastain Park Conservancy for the Walk Chastain project, which will widen the PATH along Powers Ferry Road alongside the park and make it safer.
