The Emory Police Department are investigating the rape of a student in a wooded area of the campus on Feb. 11. A sketch of the suspect, pictured at left, was released to the media over the weekend.
The incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. on in a wooded area near Dowman Drive, according to the police report. The victim described the assailant as a white man in his mid-to-late 50s, 5’10, with a reddish or brown beard. He was wearing a brown knit cap, tan jacket, dark blue jeans and brown boots. He was last scene running toward Emory Village.
