1622050_10152006036651317_1072769984_nA big blue streetcar made a surprise appearance on Edgewood Avenue this afternoon as workers finish up the Atlanta Streetcar project in Downtown. The streetcar is scheduled to be operational by Memorial Day and the cost to ride for the first three months will be free and then $1 thereafter.   1. Personally, I’m really looking forward to seeing this come to life. I’ve seen a lot of media giving this attention over the past week. From participating in the survey that Global Shapers completed in 2013, the need for a better transportation infrastructure was at the top of the list from the hundreds of Atlantans who participated in the survey.
