New renderings of the Falcons Stadium in Downtown Atlanta have been released and Curbed Atlanta has the full set.

According to a report from 11 Alive, residents who live near the Georgia Dome have filed a court challenge against the project, claiming the city illegally took control of state hotel motel tax funds which are supposed to be used for the publicly funded portion of the stadium project.

Residents are also concerned about the realignment of Martin Luther King Jr. and the proposed abandonment of other roads they say will cut off westside neighborhoods from Downtown. A hearing on the road abandonments is set for Feb. 25. More details at this link.
