Dunwoody Police were busy last night responding to two separate calls of cars hitting buildings, according to a posting on the DPD’s Facebook page.

In the first incident, a motorist hit the gas instead of the break and tried to make the Chipotle on Perimeter Center West a drive-thru. No one was injured except a glass door, a car and, perhaps, a little dignity.

In the second incident, a food delivery driver backed into the house across the street from where he was dropping off dinner. Again, no one was injured and the damage to the house was minimal.

“We would like to remind everybody that the brake is the one on the left side…the gas pedal is the tall skinny one on the right,” DPD quipped in its Facebook post.
