St. Patrick’s Day falls on Monday (March 17) this year, so many of the city’s celebrations will be happening the weekend before. Although Irish pubs will surely steal the spotlight, there’s also a parade, music festival and more.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The 132nd  annual parade moves to Midtown this year and will step off on Peachtree Street at noon on March 15 from 16th Street. Led by the iconic Budweiser Clydesdales, the parade will feature 2,000 dancers, musicians, floats and balloons. The family-friendly event will continue to 5th Street. Lucky Leprechaun Pub Crawl
The 3rd Annual Lucky Leprechaun Pub Crawl returns to Buckhead on March 15 from 5 to 11 p.m. Purchase a ticket that will include 5 “Leprechaun” sized drinks, and St. Paddy’s food and drink specials. Tickets and more information is available at

Fado’s St. Patrick’s Day
Always a popular place to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Fado’s Irish pub in Buckhead is hosting a two-day bash for everyone 21 and up. March 15 will include a street festival of fully stocked bars, food tents, and live music, while the pub will open at 7 a.m. on March 17 with bagpipers and Irish dancers.
