Hat tip to Curbed Atlanta for spotting this seven minute video produced by the Georgia Department of Transportation showing what the multimodal passenger terminal in Downtown Atlanta might look like. It incorporates MARTA, sleek passenger trains, a bus station and streetcars as well as retail and restaurants. The station looks very European, with soaring ceilings, skylights and lots of greenspace surrounded by glass office and condo/apartment towers. Watch it for yourself (full-screen is best) then head to Curbed Atlanta for more images and information.
