The PATH Foundation will host the fourth annual Chastain Park triPATHlon on April 5. The race begins at 7:30 a.m. and includes a 400-yard swim in the Chastain Park pool, a 15-mile bike ride and concludes with a 5K run on the Chastain Park trail.
Proceeds from the triPATHlon will benefit the three host organizations: the PATH Foundation, Chastain Park Conservancy and Chastain Park Athletic Club.
Kids ages 6–14 can take part in the Splash & Dash race, which includes a swim and run.
“The triPATHlon has grown into a favorite Atlanta tradition,” said Brian Cosgray, a PATH Foundation committee member. “People love the convenience of an intown race at Chastain Park and this is a great way to kick-off the triathlon season. We are limited to 550 racers so I encourage everyone to register early.”
The triPATHlon is a fully sanctioned USAT sprint triathlon and one of few intown triathlon events in the country. Registration is limited to 550 participants. To register or for more information, visit triPATHlonatlanta.com.
