A celebration of beloved traffic reporter Captain Herb Emory’s life will be held Saturday morning, April 19, at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church, 955 Johnson Ferry Road, according to a report from WSB. The public is invited to the event, which be held from 10 a.m. to noon.
Emory, who had spent more than 40 years as a traffic reporter, suffered a heart attack while assisting motorists after an accident near his Douglas County home.
