Plaza Theatre
The Plaza Theatre has been named one of the best in the world.

Mayor Kasim Reed said the city has already received multiple offers on Turner Field, according to a report in the AJC. Reed declined to give specifics on the suitors for the 77-acre parcel, but  acknowledged that there has been conversation with Georgia State University officials. After the Atlanta Braves announced their departure for Cobb County, Reed pledged to demolish Turner Field and build a mixed-used community on the site.

The Georgia Department of Labor reports that the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate dipped to 7 percent in March, which is the lowest rate since September 2008 when it was 6.8 percent. The rate was 8.4 percent in March 2013.
