Piedmont Park Conservancy will kick off its 25th anniversary by hosting Landmark Lunch on May 8 with keynote speaker Mayor Kasim Reed.

Landmark Lunch began in 1997 as an annual fundraiser for Piedmont Park. Hundreds of corporate and community leaders will don their favorite hat and meet under the tent atop The Promenade, overlooking the Legacy Fountain. Guests will be treated to a champagne toast as they arrive, followed by a lunch of locally sourced cuisine.

“I am honored to be this year’s keynote speaker at the Landmark Lunch,” Reed said. “For the last 25 years, Piedmont Park Conservancy has been a steadfast partner in revitalizing and expanding Piedmont Park. Because of their tireless commitment to maintaining the park as a world-class green space, surrounding neighborhoods are now bustling with successful businesses, young professionals, active families and great schools.”

Individual tickets are available for $125 per person and may be purchased online at piedmontpark.org. All proceeds benefit the Conservancy’s ongoing efforts to restore and maintain Piedmont Park.
