WIFIComcast has begun launching more than 160,000 Xfinity WiFi neighborhood hotspots throughout metro Atlanta. Shopping centers, parks and commuter areas have had hotspots installed, including Piedmont Park, Chastain Park, Buckhead and Atlantic Station. Gov. Nathan Deal signed legislation yesterday approving a statue of Martin Luther King Jr. to be placed on the grounds of the State Capitol. He also signed legislation requiring some applicants for food stamps and welfare benefits to undergo a drug test.
