230 Peachtree St.

InterContinental Hotels Group’s (IHG) Hotel Indigo brand, which opened its first hotel ten years ago in Atlanta and now has 55 locations open in 11 countries, will open its third location in the city in fall 2015.

The Hotel Indigo Downtown Atlanta will occupy eight floors of the 230 Peachtree building adjacent to the AmericasMart wholesale trade center developed 50 years ago by architect  John C. Portman, Jr.

Along with the Peachtree address, the hotel is just a few blocks away from Centennial Olympic Park, The Tabernacle, Rialto, Atlanta Streetcar and other Downtown attractions. The approximately 200-room conversion will have a fitness center, business center, bar and restaurant. Guestrooms will feature plush bedding, hard-surface flooring with area rugs, and spa-inspired bathrooms.
