Marketing firm Iris Worldwide has come up with some – let’s call them interesting – potential names and logos for the new soccer franchise coming to Atlanta. Inspirations include the Cheetah strip club, the city’s gridlocked traffic, Chick-fil-a and the Atlanta 96ers, a reference to the city hosting the Olympic Games. You can see the full set at Curbed Atlanta.

Southern Airways is offering nonstop flights from DeKalb-Peachtree Airport to Destin, FL, beginning May 30. The flights will depart on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Southern is also offering nonstop to Memmphis Monday through Friday. Tickets are on sale at iFlySouthern.com. Atlanta fares begin at only $198.

Another Decatur bar has weighed in on the debate about whether to allow patrons to carry guns. The Pinewood  says patrons can bring their guns as long as no laws aren’t being broken, according to a report in Decaturish.
