Dunwoody High School announced May 23 that its new principal will be Tom McFerrin.
McFerrin has served as assistant principal for instruction at the school. His appointment as principal was announced during an afternoon faculty meeting, the school said in an email announcement.
McFerrin succeeds former Principal Noah Maloof, who resigned earlier this year to take a job as principal of Decatur High School.

Joe Earle is Editor-at-Large. He has more than 30-years of experience with daily newspapers, including the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and was Managing Editor of Reporter Newspapers.
