Two more streetcars were delivered yesterday and today as work continues on getting the Atlanta Streetcar up and running this summer. No official date has been announced, but rumors are sometime in July. In the photo above, you really get a sense of the size and scale of what the cars will look like when they are actively ferrying passengers on the 2.7 mile loop from Centennial Park to the King Center and back.

Lenox Square in Buckhead is holding grand re-opening events starting today, June 11, through June 14. There will be fashion demonstrations and activities, style tutorials and a chance to win prizes. The mall is has just completed a big renovation, including a revamped main entrance with a two-story glass front, a redesigned porte-cochere and enhanced valet amenities. New stores and restaurants including: Vince Camuto, UGG, a two-story Nike flagship store, Sperry Topsider, Athleta, J.Crew Men’s Shop, Sprinkles Cupcakes and The Cheescake Factory, as well as True Food Kitchen and Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar, set to open later this month. Beginning at noon on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14, shoppers can visit the stage outside of Macy’s on the main mall level for demonstrations from adidas, Sprinkles Cupcakes, C.Wonder and more. The first 100 shoppers to register at Guest Services on Friday and Saturday will receive a grand re-opening swag bag featuring gifts from Aveda, BCBG MAXAZRIA, Chick-fil-A, C.
