The Sandy Springs City Council on June 17 voted to select Carter/Selig Enterprises as its proposed master developer partner for the City Center Phase I implementation plan. The city will now enter into a 90-day negotiation period with Carter/Selig.
The master developer will be responsible for developing and managing the retail, private office and residential component of the project, including planning, design, financing, permitting, construction, sales and leasing and ongoing management, according to city documents. The developer will also be responsible for program management services for the project’s remainder, including the city office building, performing arts center, conference center, park and roads.
