Atlanta Police say they may have located the Dodge Nitro SUV used in the hit-and-run that left cyclist Greg Germani in critical condition, according to a report from Fox 5. The SUV was found covered in the parking garage at Gables Midtown apartments.

The SUV, which had damage to the front end, has been impounded, but police are still looking for the driver. Germani, the creator of the popular Georgia Time Machine website, apparently exchanged words with the SUV driver in Morningside on June 9. Germani was later underneath a car. Surveillance video from a home on Flagler Avenue captured images of the SUV following Germani.

A reward fund to find the driver has grown to more than $28,000. Any information on the case can be submitted anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at (404) 577-TIPS (8477), online at crimestoppersatlanta.org or by texting CSA and the tip to CRIMES (274637).
