The Buckhead Coalition has announced a $250 reward for the return of a historic marker thought to be missing from the triangular park at Peachtree and Roswell roads. Coalition president Sam Massell was told by a resident that the plaque was situated in the park at the corner of Peachtree Road and Sardis Way corner, the coalition said in a press release. Susan Barnard’s book “Buckhead” says the monument marked the Sardis Masonic Lodge, the coalition said. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of the missing stone or plaque is asked to call Coalition Executive Vice-President Garth Peters at (404) 233-2228.
