The Buckhead Council of Neighborhoods will hear a presentation on Atlanta Public Schools budget issues. Robert Stockwell, who runs the blog Financial Deconstruction, will lead the talk on Thursday, July 10, at 6:45 p.m. at Peachtree Presbyterian Church, 3434 Roswell Road NW.
According to a newsletter from the council, Board of Education members Cynthia Briscoe Brown and Jason Esteves will be in attendance. In August, the council will host new APS superintendent Meria Carstarphen.
